Deadlines for USA Universities:
Studying in a University of the USA is the goal of many high achiever students in India-and rightly so. According to Quacquarelli Symonds World University ranking, 13 of the 20 top ranked universities are located in the United States. It's also a well-known fact that American universities provide job connections within a student's major. No wonder then that so many highly qualified students in India aspire to a degree from a USA university.
If you want to apply to a USA University for pursuing your MS or MBA degree, time is running out. Most of the universities deadlines are in January to February. If you have already applied to some universities and haven't received favorable responses, there is still hope for you. There are hundreds of colleges across the USA still willing and more than happy to consider an application for fall 2014. Furthermore, a large number of top ranked colleges are known to accept applications from prospective students all the way into August.
There are also those universities which have a 'rolling admission' policy. This grants students enough time to apply for university. Tin this system of application, the process starts in the early fall, and it may continue right through the summer.
In a rolling admission process, applicants are often informed about their acceptance or rejection within a few weeks of applying. But even with rolling applications, there are certain limits. Applying early gives you a better chance to get accepted as rolling admissions work on the principle of first come first serve. Moreover, you may miss out on any scholarships, financial aid and housing facilities – which may have a deadline even if the universities don't.
