Basic about IIFT Entrance Exam

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is an autonomous business school which was initiated by Government of India in the year 1963 to internationalize Indian Economy, shape Foreign Trade Management and rise country's export. MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) is its foundational course. It is one of the top institutions in the country offering only 220 seats all over India. Thus, the competition is getting tougher.

Top Colleges under IIFT:

There are only 2 institutions under Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, these are – IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata.

IIFT Delhi is situated in Qutab Institutional Area at a striking distance from Jawaharlal Nehru University and IIT New Delhi. The campus is spread across six acres of sprawling space and stuffed with state of art facilities.

Its center in Kolkata was started in the mid of 2006. It carries out all activities and curriculum format that is being followed in Delhi. The Kolkata center is operating in EP and GP Block, Sector V, Salt Lake. The institute is well arranged with top notch infrastructure.

How to Apply:

There are mainly 3 ways to apply

1. Apply Online

Online registration at www.iift.edu
The application along with scanned photograph and signature has to be sent to IIFT.
Offline payment modes are MASTER Credit Card/VISA or Demand Draft.
After the application with necessary enclosures is received, the candidate will be sent brochure via post or courier. His/her name will be recorded in IIFT's database.
The status of the application can be viewed online.

2. Apply Offline-Direct Submission

Buy IIFT Prospectus and application form from the Admission Office in IIFT Campus.
Pay cash for the application form and prospectus and collect them.
It can be filled up then and there and submitted along with the necessary enclosures within the given time.

3. Apply Offline - Via Postal Service

Request for application form and Prospectus by writing to the Admission Office, IIFT Delhi and mention the address where you want your application form to be delivered.
Send a demand draft of required amount along with your requesting letter and other necessary documents. The DD should be made in favor of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, payable at New Delhi. Do not forget to write your name and address on the backside.
