It is designed on a multiple choice question format that includes Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning.
Eligibility:-
All candidates who com plete the Test Registration process pay the test fee within the time specified and follow the published test rules, may sit for the NMAT 2015. It is the responsibility of the candidate to understand the eligibility requirements of the management program to which they are applying before deciding to register for NMAT. If a candidate registers for the test and then determines that he/she is not eligible for admission to the intended program, no test fee refund will be offered.

It is a 120 minute test with 3 sections with details as given below.

There is no negative marking in this exam. Each person gets a unique but equivalent question paper. Each section has an individual time and a candidate is supposed to finish that section in the allotted time given. A candidate can choose the order of sections. But once he or she moves out of a section, there is no possibility of returning to that section for attempting or reviewing the questions.

Exam Format:-
The NMAT Entrance Exam is a computer based test, where the candidate reads the question on the computer terminal and chooses the right answer, by clicking on the given options. A candidate should report to the test centre 45 minutes before the scheduled time. There are no scheduled breaks in the test. However, candidates can take unscheduled breaks if they wish to during the test session. An unscheduled break means a break during which the test clock does not stop. If a candidate chooses to take a break, the actual time spent on the break will be deducted from the time allocated to complete the test. No extra time will be given to complete the test. During the break, the candidate must leave the testing room. Upon re-entering the testing room, he or she must show a valid ID.
